Dzisiaj Bruksela zamknela ulice dla samochodow - totalnie i calkowicie. Tylko autobusy i tramwaje kursowaly a poza tym rowery, rowery, rowery...! Czasem konie, czasem inne nie-motorowe pojazdy albo po prostu wlasne nogi. Wszyscy, wlacznie ze mna, z wielka radocha jezdzili po najwiekszych i najszerszych arteriach stolicy Europy zwykle zapchanych samochodami a belgijska pogoda tym razem nie zawiodla. Najpiekniejszy moment przydarzyl mi sie rano - kiedy wyszlam na balkon CISZA az mnie porazila...! I tak az do 19.00 - cos niesamowitego. Pomruki, szumy, odglosy i halasy wielkiego miasta usnely na jeden dzien a ich miejsce zajela sielankowa atmosfera rodem ze wsi. Polecam innym miastom - jak widac MOZNA!
Today Brussels closed roads and streets for cars - totally! Only buses and trams were permitted to go and a lot of bikes, bikes, bikes and other non-motor devices, own legs included. All people, including me, had a lot of fun riding the biggest and the broadest streets usually filled with cars and Belgian weather did not let us down:) The most beautiful moment that I experienced today happened when I went to our balcony and the SILENCE almost "killed" me...! And it lasted until 19.00 - something really extraordinary! Murmurs, hums, voices and noises went to sleep for one day and their place was taken by idyllic ambiance straight from the countryside. Worth advising to other cities - IT IS POSSIBLE!
..to male miasteczko na granicy francusko-hiszpanskej, otoczone Pirenejami i Morzem Srodziemnym, troche katalonskie, lecz we Francji z silnym poludniowym akcentem ale dla mie przede wszystkim srodziemnomorskie wlasnie, o klimacie (zarowno pogodowym jak i nastrojowym), ktory uwielbiam! Oczywiscie, jak to w cieplych krajach, zycie toczy sie na ulicy dniem i noca (takze w sensie doslownym), choc tubylcy, robiac aluzje do temperatur wrzesniowych, po naszej wyprawie nad morze powiedzieli, ze oni juz nie jezdza bo "za zimno". Ja bym bardzo chciala miec takie 25 stopniowe "zimno" w Brukseli na codzien... Alors - pierwsza odslona Perpignan w tym poscie. Nastepna bedzie o celu wlasciwym naszej wycieczki czyli festiwalu fotografii prasowej i reporterskiej Visa pour l'image.
.. is a small town on the French-Spanish border, surrounded by Pyrenees and Mediterranean Sea, a bit Catalan, but in France with strong south accent, but for me and above all of Mediterranean warm climate, flavour and ambiance which I love! Life runs on the street (also in a very physical sense). However after our trip to the seaside the local people told us it was for them already to cold and they do not go there. I'd love to experience such 25 degrees "coldness" every day in Brussels.... Alors - the first scene of Perpignan here. W sierpniu jeszcze bylam na arcyciekawej wystawie wspolczesnej fotografii chinskiej.Fotografie zaprezentowano w 5 czesciach: pozaczasowa historia, tozsamosc, jednostka w swoim kontekscie (relanym, krytycznym i sugestywnym), wzrost gospodarczy a nostalgia za natura, nowe spoleczenstwo konsumpcyjne. W tak szerokich ramach znalazlo sie wiele obrazow - jak napisali organizatorzy zostalo przedstawionych 130 prac 33 mlodych autorow rysujac obrazowa socjoarystyczna mape nowych Chin.Tutaj zamieszczam tylko niektore z tych zdjec, ktore spodobaly mi sie najbardziej. Organizatorami wystawy sa ARTIUM i Palacu de Virreina.
In August I was in Lille and saw very interesting exhibition of contemporary Chinese photography.Works were presented in 5 thematic threads: timeless history, identity, the individual in his context: real, critical and suggestive, economic growth and a nostalgia for nature, a new consumer society. In such a broad spectrum 130 photos of 33 artists were shown drawing illustrative socio-artistic map of new China. Here I insert only several photos (or their fragments) which I liked the most. ARTIUM and Palacu de Virreina are the organisers.
