I love flying. The moment of start the most, when engines go high, they are ready to "attack", when the captain releases the breaks and the giant starts, the earth is quicker and quicker under the wheels, the giant roars, quicker and quicker! in order to take off and soar up lightly into the distance... I always - like a child - try to find a place at the window because each time it is different - clouds, sunsets and sunrises and the earth showing itself as in various scenes. I often have my camera in my hand to catch these situations so this post is the first one out of a series to come. When I do not take pics I sleep of course or eat and read. 2 days ago flying to Warsaw I opened a on-board newspaper and found a commercial of Polish-English phrasebook. Some standard phrases appeared like "One language is never enough" and suddenly my eyes met this: "MY HOVERCRAFT IS FULL OF EELS" - he??? I had no problem with imaging a hovercraft but full of eels...?? And - does anyone have a hovercraft to fill it with those friendly little fish..? Was it a commercial trick or not (I do not remember the name of company anyway) I laughed a lot..:))))

Moj poduszkowiec jest pelen wegorzy *** My hovercraft is full of eels
Uwielbiam latac. Lecac 2 dni temu do Warszawy znana i lubiana tania linia otworzylam magazyn pokladowy tejze linii i zauwazylam w nim reklame rozmowek polsko-angielskich. I nagle moj wzrok napotkal to "MOJ PODUSZKOWIEC JEST PELEN WEGORZY". Heee???

This phrase is used in a sketch about a badly translated English-Hungarian phrasebook from the British TV comedy show, Monty Python's Flying Circus. There's a video of the sketch on youtube and a transcript on this site.
